Well anyway: we're having PEANUT BUTTER AND JAM. NOT in the traditional sense, because when I say JAM I refer to the act of playing on guitars and singing and whatnot.
See, I don't mean JAM as in the spread JAM, I mean JAM as in JAMMING. And when I say PEANUT BUTTER I refer to the food product primarily composed of peanuts that is enjoyed by many.

Both touching and striking, A State of Mind follows the lives of two young Korean girls as they prepare for the day they will perform before their leader, Kim-Jong Il.
Compare the faithfulness and devotion that these Korean girls display for a flawed human leader with the faithfulness and devotion Christians are called to display before Jesus.

Summit is AACF's year-end, week-long retreat at Toah Nipi, our favorite New Hampshire campsite. At Summit, you'll get a chance to process this past year with Jesus and his body, without the distractions of school. It will be an awesome time of fellowship and bonding under summer sun and starry nights. There will be scholarships and loans available for retreat (price will be announced soon). This is a great time where we get to hang with our sister fellowship HRCF and three other fellowships from neighboring schools such as MIT!
Online registration is now open for all camps. The early registration deadline for May camps is May 3.

The AFA will be AACF's Annual Servant Auction 2009, which is held with the purpose of raising money for people in AACF who are going on summer missions trips. The Auction will be held as our AFA, where 'items' will be auctioned off.

This Friday's large group will be about lightness and darkness (being in the light vs. in the dark) and John 1. We haven't had many opportunities to pray together as a fellowship, but this week's Large Group will focus on that. It will be a time of reflection, confession, and extended prayer. AFA will be a prayer walk (weather permitting). Regardless, it'll be prayer-oriented!

This Friday's large group will be on JOY, with Mako Nagasawa.
Mako Nagasawa is on staff with the Boston College Asian Christian Fellowship, and the Tufts Christian Fellowship. Prior to serving with InterVarsity, Mako worked for two Boston startup companies, both bringing technology to the inner city. He also worked for Intel Corporation for six years in project management while living with and serving Mexican immigrant families in East Palo Alto, Calif. He graduated from Stanford University in 1994 with a double major in Industrial Engineering and Public Policy.
Mako is extremely well-known and loved for his public speaking skills and general awesomeness. Please come hear what he has to say about finding joy in our lives!
Afterwards, we're going to do something... joyful, KARAOKE (and dance). Yup, it's going to be karaoke night people. So bring your A-game.
Worship & Prayer Night
