Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

-- Philippians 4:4-7 (NIV)

Friday, 30 January 2008 - Sunday 01 February 2008 at Toah Nipi

Our Winter Retreat this year will be from 1/30/09-2/1/09. We'll be heading up to beautiful Toah Nipi Retreat Center in Rindge, NH for a weekend of time with God, rejuvination and fun. We're excited to welcome our speaker Lisa Espineli Chin, the director of International Student Ministries with InterVarsity. She was a keynote speaker at Urbana '03 and 06, InterVarsity's national missions conference. Lisa is a visionary who has a particular heart for international students. She also serves on the board of HOPE International, a non-profit organization focused on poverty alleviation through microenterprise development. Lisa was a Filipeno international student, is married to a Chinese-American man and together they have three children.

We're still brainstorming a topic but it's sure to be along the lines of faith and what it means for your life. If this is your first time at a retreat with AACF be sure to take advantage of our first-timer discount code: FIRSTTIME.

Faith and Witness

Friday, 07:30pm - 09:00pm, 14 November 2008 at Harvard Hall 104

As we seek to be united in witness, come hear Chris Nichols, Intervarsity New England Regional Director, describe his passions for witnessing in college. Please join us at 7:30pm on Friday in Harvard Hall 104!

Afterwards, get ready for our fellowship lock-in. We'll be meeting in Mather JCR at 10pm for fun & games, but there's no obligation to stay the whole time! You can come and go as you'd like, but please stop by for some homemade treats!

We'd love to see you this Friday at Harvard Hall 104 at 7:30pm! Stick around afterwards to attend the Haunted House: Tricks and Treats. Quincy 619 starting at 10pm.
